HEL is proud to have recently installed our 20L pressure reactor system for the supercritical drying of gels in the Centre of Nanomaterials at ARCI, Hyderabad, India. The ARCI is an autonomous R & D Centre of the Government of India's Department of Science and Technology, set up to develop unique and techno-commercially viable technologies in the area of advanced materials.
HEL's reactor is fully computer controlled and allows for the complete sequence of operations to be automated, ensuring reproducibility of product quality and permits easy technology transfer to a third party if necessary. The 20L pressure reactor is being utilized in the supercritical drying processes to make a variety of aerogels such as silica, organic, carbon and composites of aerogels.
