The Heat Transfer Society of Japan (HTSJ) has recently established an international award, which is named as the Shiro Nukiyama Memorial Award, on the 50th anniversary. This Award shall be bestowed to a scientist, preferably under 50 years of age, every two years in the field of Thermal Science and Engineering.
