Adam Harvey and I were approached by Andy Furlong, Director of Policy and Communication at the Institution of Chemical Engineers during the 3rd EPIC Conference (see article below), with a view closer links between the IChemE and PIN.
As a result of mutually agreeable proposals, the IChemE will be launching a 'call for papers' for the next PIN meeting, that will be held in The Beehive, Newcastle University, on Wednesday 2nd May 2012.
The benefits of the wider database of members, both IChemE and PIN, and the organisational expertise will be two of the features that the collaboration will bring to our meetings. Adam and I look forward to welcoming many PIN (and HEXAG) members to this event.
