Surface Heat Flux Measurements
Tadhg O'Donovan from Heriot-Watt University and researchers at Trinity College, Dublin have been investigating high resolution measurement techniques for heat fluxes - in this case using hot film anemometry to investigate heat fluxes to impinging jets, between a hot surface and an air jet, as might e used in modern electronics cooling systems or turbine blades.
